After golive and the first months of using Netsuite in PAI CRISTAL ITALIA s.r.l.<\/a> , we interviewed Aldo Corte Metto<\/strong>, general manager.<\/p>\n

Pai Cristal, founded in Milan in 1965, is a developer and manufacturer of high-end polishing processes. Its activities are applied in the fashion and eyewear, automotive and marine, jewelry and music industries. <\/p>\n

Today it is a benchmark in the industry, operating in Cadore but also present in China, India, and for the past few months in the United States.<\/strong> <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

THE PAI CRISTAL OBJECTIVE<\/h3><\/h4><\/span>

Pai Cristal’s challenge was to digitize business processes<\/strong>, acquiring an international tool that could manage all aspects of the business and be applied and used by all departments.<\/p>\n<\/div>

ORACLE NETSUITE BECAUSE<\/h3>\n<\/div>

“The tool we needed had to allow quick access to data,<\/em>without having to chase after it. NetSuite is constantly updated, which we no longer have to worry about.” <\/em><\/p>\n

NETSUITE BECAUSE<\/h3>\n<\/div>

Our client’s needs were for a constantly updated system that could cover all aspects of the company’s business, from marketing to production, and for an international ERP in anticipation of future internationalization.<\/p>\n

Pai Cristal installed all components of the NetSuite ERP including accounting, warehouse, production, CRM and commercial.<\/strong> With this solution, all staff, from any department, can use and interface with a single platform.<\/p>\n<\/div>

“The recent start of operations in the U.S. subsidiary allowed us to appreciate the advantages of a solution like Oracle NetSuite. In just a few weeks, we activated the branch’s CRM, accounting and intercompany processes, enabling control of activities from Italy in real time.”<\/em><\/h5>\n<\/div><\/div><\/span><\/blockquote>

GREENTREE AS A PARTNER<\/h3>\n<\/div>

We were chosen as a partner by Pai Cristal because of our trust in Oracle <\/a>and our industry experience. Instead, the multi-handed collaboration with the client was essential to ensure accurate planning and effective implementation. <\/p>\n

Mapping all business processes and clearly defining objectives ensured effective collaboration between Pai Cristal and Green Tree, even in the absence of a dedicated project leader.<\/p>\n

“Planning is a step in the process that matters a lot. In our case, <\/em>not having a person within the company <\/em>totally dedicated to mapping all projects, we relied on the expertise and availability of Green Tree staff.<\/em>“<\/p>\n

We supported our client throughout the implementation period and during the first months of ERP deployment to overcome critical change management issues together.<\/p>\n

“Initially there was some internal resistance, but the willingness on the part of the GreenTree guys to create a totally tailor-made product facilitated the change and safely ferried the transition.”\u201c<\/em><\/p>\n

At the end of 2024, we also trained staff in the U.S. office. Today they can save new leads, enter orders, and create reports with full autonomy. <\/p>\n<\/div>

NET IMPROVEMENTS<\/h3>\n<\/div>

NetSuite has enabled Pai Cristal to manage all business processes in a single platform, eliminating dependence on Excel spreadsheets. Integration with business intelligence software further streamlined operations, easing the company’s transition from craft to industry and preparing it to handle increasing volumes and complexity. <\/p>\n

Budgeting operations have also been incorporated into NetSuite and will be extended to the production and purchasing areas in the coming months.<\/p>\n<\/div>

“The first objective improvement is that now we all work with one tool,<\/em> the whole management is in one platform.<\/em>I think this is also a good start for a further change, the cultural and operational change from a craft company to an industrial one.” <\/em><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/span><\/blockquote>

LOOKING TO THE FUTURE…<\/h3>\n<\/div>

Pai Cristal recently successfully integrated three new production machines and performed an integration with Business Intelligence software.<\/p>\n

Upcoming challenges for Pai Cristal include new integrations of artificial intelligence applications to further improve efficiency and prepare the company for future challenges.<\/p>\n

The collaboration between Pai Cristal, Green Tree, and NetSuite has enabled Pai Cristal to modernize business processes, address change management challenges, and integrate new technologies to continue -securely- the path of growth and success.<\/p>\n
